The next book in the trilogy is well on it’s way to reality. Right now the title could be something like “The Awakening of a Warrior” Warrior past lives of a Navy SEAL Remembered.
This is unedited and in the ruff. The final version will be different because this is a work in progress.

As a highly intelligent skeptic you and I have to be willing to consider all the different possibilities, rather than automatically assuming our opinion must be correct or the only logical conclusion. If we are willing to open our minds to other possibilities then we open ourselves to a far more interesting and fulfilling life.
I began to have thoughts as to the possibility of past lives when I was quite young. Around age eleven my parents allowed me to stay up late and watch the movie “Patton” with them on the televised Sunday night movie. Staring George C. Scott as the American general and tank commander during WWII, his Oscar winning performance fascinated me. I was especially intrigued when he mentioned that he’d had past lives in the movie. A couple verses from a poem written by him are mesmerizing,
“So as through a glass and darkly, the age long strife I see, where I fought in many guises, many names, but always me.
So forever in the future, Shall I battle as of yore, Dying to be born a fighter, But to die again, once more”.
Reincarnation, which literally means, “to be made flesh again”, is the belief that the soul, after the death of the body, comes back to earth in another body. According to one belief, a new personality is developed during each life in the physical world, but the soul remains constant throughout the successive lives.
As I matured I seemed to continually come across literature and great works by many people throughout time that had believed in past lives. Leaders of industry whom I admired like Henry Ford who said: “I adopted the theory of reincarnation when I was 26. Genius is experience. Some think to seem that it is a gift or talent, but it is the fruit of long experience in many lives“.
Many other famous people had interesting quotes that I would find over time that made me ponder on the possibility that I may have had past lives as well. Powerful leaders such as Mahatma Ghandi in India would have me pause and meditate on his quote, “I cannot think of permanent enmity between man and man, and ?believing as I do in the theory of reincarnation, I live in the hope ?that if not in this birth, in some other birth I shall be able to hug all of humanity in friendly embrace.
Accomplished writers like Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote, “The soul comes from without into the human body, as into a temporary abode, and it goes out of it anew as it passes into other habitations, for the soul is immortal. It is the secret of the world that all things subsist and do not die, but only retire a little from sight and afterwards return again. Nothing is dead; men feign themselves dead, and endure mock funerals… and there they stand looking out of the window, sound and well, in some strange new disguise.” Another contemporary of Emerson and one of my favorites as a boy after I read the classic book “Walden” was Henry David Thoreau who said: “Why should we be startled by death? Life is a constant putting off of the mortal coil – coat, cuticle, flesh and bones, all old clothes.”
Leaders within their fields would come to deeper insights of our world and share them with us like Jalalu Rumi an Islamic Poet of the 13th century who is a favorite poet of mine said: “I died as a mineral and became a plant, I died as a plant and rose to animal, I died as animal and I was man. Why should I fear? ?When was I less by dying?” Thus giving birth to the idea that we migrated down as souls to the lowest denominator to experience all of existence through countless incarnations and work our way up through first mineral form, then plant, animal and now as humans. Even now as humans we are evolving into a higher form of existence. The evolutionary process is constant and ever changing.
The earliest known religious teachings in the world today are Vedic Hindu scriptures, which state that the soul (atman) is immortal, while the body is subject to birth, decay, old age and death. The idea of reincarnation is intricately linked with the notion of karma or as it is known to Christians as you sow so shall you reap, another concept first recorded in the Upanishads (Hindu scriptures that constitute the core teachings). Karma (literally: action) is the sum of one’s actions, and the force that determines one’s next reincarnation. The cycle of death and rebirth, governed by karma, is referred to as samsara. Many religious leaders throughout time believed in reincarnation and spoke openly of it with their followers.
Siddhartha Gautama (Buddha) (563 BC – 483 BC) offered the following on Reincarnation: “Samsara-the Wheel of Existence, literally, the “Perpetual Wandering”-is the name by which is designated the sea of life ever restlessly heaving up and down, the symbol of this continuous process of ever again and again being born, growing old, suffering, and dying. (It) is constantly changing from moment to moment, (as lives) follow continuously one upon the other through inconceivable periods of time. Of this Samsara, a single lifetime constitutes only a vanishingly tiny fraction.”
The Dali Lama is the 14th recognized reincarnation of the same soul and an inheritor of a rich tradition and culture, which started with Gendun Drup, who lived from 1391 AD to 1474 AD. This fascinating reincarnation story has been ongoing for over six hundred years! Before he dies the Dalai Lama will meditate on his next incarnation and give the upper echelon of monks clues as to what he sees’ through the eyes of his next incarnated self as a two to three year old. After his death the monks will start their own meditation on the next incarnation of the Dalai Lama’s location and then the Buddhist monks faithfully search him for. They correlate where he is at through previous clues and their own meditations over a two to three year period. They will then travel to the location envisioned in meditations and clues and begin their search to see if there is a young child in the area. Upon finding the young child they then present several artifacts from the previous Dalai Lama’s life such as a toy that he enjoyed but they will also present a nice new shiny one. The child picks his previous toy and other artifacts such as prayer beads, staffs and so on for a count of around ten different objects or questions. Satisfied they request the child from the honored parents and he is brought up in the monastery as the new incarnation of the Dalai Lama.
Here is a quote from the preface of the book “The Case for Reincarnation” by Joe Fisher: Preface by The Dalai Lama” “Reincarnation is not an exclusively Hindu or Buddhist concept, but it is part of the history of human origin. It is proof of the mind stream’s capacity to retain knowledge of physical and mental activities. It is related to the theory of interdependent origination and to the law of cause and effect.”
From the three religions spawned by Abraham: Jewish, Christian and Islam we have several references to reincarnation. Josephus (most well known Jewish historian from the time of Jesus) “All pure and holy spirits live on in heavenly places, and in course of time they are again sent down to inhabit righteous bodies.” Other spiritual insights would follow from masters like Jesus Christ (Yeshua) in the account of John 3:3 Yeshua said, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.” In the Gnostic Gospels: Pistis Sophia, ?Yeshua is quoted as saying, “Souls are poured from one into another of different kinds of bodies of the world.”
Mohammed was sent messages from Allah through his messenger Arch Angel Gabriel while fasting and in deep meditation in a mountain cave outside of Mecca (an area of present day Saudi Arabia). In the Holy Koran we find the following beautiful verses: “And Allah hath caused you to spring forth from the Earth like a plant; ?Hereafter will He turn you back into it again, and bring you forth anew.” “God generates beings, and sends them back over and over again, till they return to Him.”
Scientific proof of reincarnation comes from many different sources. I have read many books by Dr. Ian Stevenson. Dr. Stevenson has compiled several thousand cases of reincarnation from all over the world for over forty years. In his book “Twenty Cases Suggestive of Reincarnation” he gives very credible accounts of children that remembered past lives that he has personally researched. It is known that the Egyptians believed in reincarnation or the transmigration of the soul. They thought the soul transmigrated from body to body and this was the main reason why they embalmed the body. The body was preserved so that it could journey along with ka, an animating force that was believed to be a counterpart of the body, which would accompany it in the next world or life. Ka might be considered equivalent to the term of soul. This establishes the dating of the concept of reincarnation back to the ancient Egyptian religion but many think it dates beyond antiquity.
About the first definition of soul transmigration came from Pythagoras (570-495 BC), the Greek philosopher and mathematician, who taught that the soul was immortal and merely resides in the body; therefore, it survived bodily death. His further teachings held the soul goes through a series of rebirths. Between death and rebirth the soul rests and is purified in the Underworld. After the soul has completed this series of rebirths is becomes so purified that it can leave the transmigration or reincarnation cycle.
Countless philosophers have discussed the idea of reincarnation such as Socrates (469-399 BC) who is one of the most well known and acknowledged philosophers of all time. He stated that, “I am confident that there truly is such a thing as living again, that the living spring from the dead, and that the souls of the dead are in existence.”
Plato (427-347 BC), another Greek philosopher, who was taught by Socrates and in turn taught Aristotle, shared similar views as Pythagoras in that the soul of man was eternal, pre-existence, and wholly spiritual. The early Christian philosopher Origen (185-254 AD) is considered one of the most prominent of all of the Church fathers. In his Contra Celsum he states that a soul enters into a body according to its former actions and then changes body. St. Augustine (354-430 AD) was greatly influenced by Neoplatonism in which beliefs are centered on the idea of a single supreme source of goodness and being in the universe from which all other things descend. Neoplatonists support the idea of a world soul, which bridges the divide between the realms of forms and the realms of tangible existence. St. Augustine is considered one of the most important figures in the development of Western Christianity and said in one of his works, Contra Academicos, that the message of Plato’s reincarnation is the purest and most luminous of all philosophy. In AD 529 Emperor Justinian closed the Neo-Platonic School in Athens and banished those teachings. Before this, many early Christians, including St. Augustine accepted the concept of reincarnation as a matter of course. In the sixth century, the Second Council of Constantinople condemned the teachings of reincarnation and began to banish anyone that taught such ideas. Bishops and Christian theologians that publicly espoused reincarnation in the centuries since then have often done so to their extreme detriment.
The 16th century monk Giordano Bruno was an Italian Renaissance philosopher, mathematician and astronomer who said: “The soul is not the body and it may be in one body or in another, and pass from body to body.” Giordano Bruno would be burned at the stake for heresy after a long trial and imprisonment by the Inquisition. On the 400th anniversary of Bruno’s death, which occurred on the 17th of February 1600, Cardinal Angelo Sodano declared Bruno’s death to be a “sad episode”. Despite his regret however, he defended Bruno’s persecutors, maintaining that the Inquisitors “had the desire to preserve freedom and promote the common good and did everything possible to save his life”.
English poet and novelist Robert Graves has what I consider one of the best refutes to this line of thinking by the Catholic church. His quote: “No honest theologian therefore can deny that his acceptance of Jesus as Christ logically binds every Christian to a belief in reincarnation – in Elias case (who was later John the Baptist) at least.” This quote refers to passages in the Old and New Testament of the Bible. In the last chapter and paragraph of the Old Testament, Malachi 4:5-6, it is prophesied that the prophet Elijah, also known as Elias, would be reborn again with the coming of the Messiah. The New Testament in Matthew 16:13-15, Jeshua meets some of his disciples in upper Galilee and asks them who people are saying they think he is. And they answer that some think he is the reincarnation of the prophet Elias. And Jeshua answers in Matthew 17:9-13 that he who was the reincarnation of Elias had already come and they had taken his life, and the disciples acknowledge that he is referring to John the Baptist. So Jeshua who is the father of Christianity believed and talked about reincarnation within the bible itself. If you are a follower of Christ, a Christian and a believer in the bible do you still refute reincarnation? Truth has a wonderful way of coming back full circle into the forefront of human awareness. The idea, knowledge of, and self realization of reincarnation has been lost or suppressed for centuries in many cultures and religions but it is inexorably making a way back to its’ rightful place in humanities awareness. You may decide for yourself, as I did over time, that reincarnation is part of who and what we are as spiritual beings having a human beings experience over many lifetimes. Awareness of past lives and my connection to them in this life has been part of my own spiritual awakening. A process of awakening that I believe everyone will eventually encounter as they progress in spiritual development and intuition. To deny or suppress this integral part of spiritual ascension in consciousness is to impede or negate ones own right as a soul in passage through the human experience. It is with this concept of our rights as soul entities that I relate my own personal experiences in the hope that it will enhance or awaken your own personal spiritual development and intuitions.
Introduction
Reincarnation has captured the imagination of many in the West and is gaining in popularity across a broad spectrum of ideas and thought. The concept of reincarnation has long been a belief and accepted reality in much of the East for thousands of years in the past and all the way into the present. The idea of past lives in the West currently receives regular mention in feature films, television, popular books, and popular music.
I believe that many of us that are attracted to certain time eras, lifestyles, people, cultures and geographic locations on the planet are very likely having memories of past lives filter into our current reality. We may meet a particular person we have never seen or met before and then upon eye contact or briefly speaking with that person we have a strong affinity or attraction to them. Perhaps we have known them in a past life or many lives and are now reconnecting with them. We may travel to a different location or city that we have never been to before and surprise ourselves in our ability to get around with no problem while others are completely lost. Perhaps we have had a life or several lives in that city before.
More and more people are accepting the possibility of reincarnation and as the information age continues to undercut and erode old dogmas and outmoded ways of thinking we will see this process accelerate.
My intent with this book is to show a progression of lives lived as warriors and how these lives impact and influence my current life. For instance in my last book The Intuitive Warrior, I speak about how the energy of love has begun to influence everything in my life. In this book I will speak of a life as a warrior in which Jesus greatly influenced me and how that influence is coming through very strongly now in this life. I’ll give you my own personal lifetimes as an example of how we deal with power and how we come back again and again to perfect different aspects of ourselves until we achieve self-mastery of this influence. Once we’ve achieved mastery of a particular aspect we then move on to another aspect and so on until we have developed mastery of all aspects of power. My previous book “The Intuitive Warrior” was meant as a prequel to this book. In this book I’ll show how I progressed and evolved through many different and varied lives to the point where I was able to utilize the skills of an intuitive warrior. My follow on book in this trilogy will give an account of how my lives as priests developed the aspect of love and how the variation between warrior and priest lifetimes was necessary to balance and bring me to the point where I am today.
If we look at the perspective of any two people who witness the same event they will have a different view. This could be simply from their different vantage points at the scene. It could be from different educational levels, ability to articulate words, their upbringing, political or religious views and a myriad of other factors. Do not get wrapped up in my views because they are only meant to inform. Any reference to living families is not meant to draw favor or to get into any kind of relationship from former lives. I do not mean to intrude, insult or draw any unnecessary attention to living relatives of my former lives. Nor do I intend to curry favor or influence anyone in anything other than to inspire him or her, to motivate him or her in his or her own search as to the choices in incarnating into their current lifetime.
Many of the viewpoints from my own perspective of history may not fit with certain recognized stories or with the way history has been written. History is often written and shaped by the victors, or by those with a different agenda than what the truth really is. History is occasionally retold incorrectly or completely forgotten through suppression or fabrication. Through the fog of time where history has been forgotten, misinterpreted or manipulated we can piece the truth together if we are open to different sources. Memories of former lives from many different people that have had the memories of past lives thinned or removed altogether can help to uncover the true history of an era or particular events.
Some of the lives I’ve lived are hard to trace and find specific proof. I’ve tried to the best of my ability to hold all of my information to the light of truth. I have also tried to the best of my ability to triangulate from different sources, which includes historical evidence, experts on the subject and actual data that has survived through time.
My desire and intent for writing this book is to spark an interest and perhaps an awakening in many to their own past lives and how these past lives have shaped and molded us over time. The benefits are potentially many and can include everything from releasing past traumas that may be influencing your current life to achieving an understanding of why you are attracted to certain people, places or things. Knowledge of a past life could inform you as to why you are passionate and driven in certain areas and completely averse to others. If we can come to a realization that we have had incarnations as many different races, cultures, religions, poor, rich, noble, peasant, slave, male or female would we still have the amount of wars and conflicts with each other that we have now?
I personally wasn’t completely convinced of reincarnation until after I had read dozens of books, had several past life readings and many synchronistic events that pointed me to my final conclusion that we all reincarnate. My searching mind inexorably was led to the undeniable conclusion that we all have incarnated many, many times. I believe that if you don’t currently believe in reincarnation then you don’t have enough information yet or you are completely closed to the idea, which is unfortunate because past life knowledge is extremely enlightening in a broad way. In my opinion and the opinion of many advanced thinkers throughout time, the evidence is overwhelming and irrefutably in favor of spiritual transmigration. If we were to set a trial of reincarnation in a court of law for perjury it would be found not guilty. Whether you now believe in reincarnation, are curious but on the fence or have no belief at all, you will find this book at a minimum entertaining, thought provoking, persuasive and for many of you enlightening and transformative.
Chapter One
Meeting Yeshua
Every soul is ordained to wander between incarnations in the spiritual world until driven down again to Earth and coupled with a newborn baby’s body.
- Plutarch
As a little boy of around four and five years old I was always excited to go to church and study about Jesus. It was a magical time for me as I heard the wonderful stories about Jesus and the disciples. I loved to sing songs about Jesus with the other children my age and listened enraptured to the stories of how Jesus loved the little children. I remember looking for long periods of time at pictures of Jesus and thinking what a wonderful person he was and how he seemed mysteriously familiar to me.
My first reading from a psychic many decades later would turn my world upside down when I learned that I had walked with Jesus during a previous incarnation.
My first reading was with a woman named Mary Roach who did not fit the stereotype of a psychic that I had. I expected the stereotype that’s common in the film industry that portray an elderly woman who sits at a small round table as they gaze into a crystal ball, speak in a mysterious barely audible voice and live in a darkened house. This was one of the reasons why I had shied away from having a past life reading for so long. But a strong curiosity had finally driven me to overcome this misgiving. I was to find out that this idea that psychics are strange and barely approachable has been completely false and now forever shattered for me. I have talked with and had readings from many psychics over the last several years and they are all very normal people like everyone else.
Mary Roach was very articulate, personable and lived in a very nice home that was full of natural light. Her home was well furnished and in an upper class neighborhood. She was an attractive middle-aged woman whose energy level was very high and her speech was bullet train fast. I hung on her every word as she rapidly described events in my life that she could not possibly have known. She then went back into past lives and started naming life after life that I’d had a strong connection with already. She told me about many lives as warriors and priests. One life she told me about really got my attention. She said matter-of-factly that I’d had a life with Jesus! I was stunned. It rang true for me, as did the rapid description of how we had traveled together.
Mary Roach who lived in Virginia Beach where I was stationed as a Navy SEAL told me that I had been traveling with Jeshua, as his name was formally pronounced in his native language of Aramaic, and learning how to heal others. I had been trying to heal a young boy that was dying but I was unsuccessful and he passed. I went to a different part of the city of Capernaum and found Jeshua and told him of the situation with the boy and asked if he could help. He told me that the young orphan boys spirit had left his body but Jeshua was able to call the boy’s spirit back because my love for the boy’s welfare had been so strong he was able to revive him. I hurriedly returned to the boy who was being watched over by some of the disciples of Yeshua. Several of the disciples excitedly met me halfway and told me the boy was revived.
Ms. Roach told me that this boy would remain with me as my adoptive son from that point on. I was even told that that same boy in that life is my son in this life as well. This illustrates how we move through different lifetimes as soul groups. Helping each other from one life to the next.
There is a story in the Bible that documents this account by one of the disciples with us during the time. John ben Zebedee of Galilee would eventually become one of my best friends and I would help him to acquire an education in learning to speak and write Greek at my family’s home in Athens. I would also later change my name from Aristotle to John in honor of my friendship with John ben Zebedee. The story John wrote about originally has been somewhat distorted over time by mistranslations from Greek to Latin and then to English but the main story line from almost two thousand years ago is still intact.
The Edgar Cayce Association for Research and Enlightenment (ARE) headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia had recommended Mary Roach to me. For a very long time I had been fascinated by the story of Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) often called the sleeping prophet because of the sleeping state he would enter while giving “readings” to people on everything from health, past lives, ancient civilizations, prophecy, business ventures and dreams to name a few. In all he gave over 14,000 readings during a period of 43 years from 1901 to 1944.
I was doing volunteer work at the ARE headquartered in Virginia Beach while I was still in the SEAL Teams in summer of 2002. I decided to get my own reading from a recommended list of psychics at the ARE that were local to the area. I had often had feelings that I’d had past lives and after almost thirty years of reading and research I decided to take my exploration to the realm of renowned psychics. I had been doing volunteer work for several months to collate reincarnation readings performed by Edgar Cayce who I consider one of the greatest psychics of all time. I became intrigued and wondered about my own past lives while working on this material. I was told by many of the other volunteers that many of them had seen Mary Roach and she had said that many of them were members of the Essene communities that Jeshua had been part of.
I was given Mary Roach’s number and also one other woman’s number that I would have a reading with shortly after Mary Roach’s. I wanted to see if I would get confirmation of what Mary had said. The second psychic told me independent of knowing what Mary Roach had told me that I had been with Jeshua but that I had been a Roman Centurion! Centurions of the Roman army were professional officers that commanded 80 to 100 men, hence the Latin name of century for one hundred. I was shocked at this because of my belief that the Romans had crucified Jeshua. For many years I tried to reconcile myself with how I could have been with Jeshua doing healings and have been a Roman Centurion at the same time.
It was many years later before I consulted another psychic. I had read and contemplated on the past lives I had been told about and started to realize that many of the things that I did in this life had correlations with my past lives. I finally consulted who is probably the preeminent psychic in the world at this time and his name is Kevin Ryerson. Kevin was featured in Shirley MacLain’s television miniseries and book “Out on a Limb” as well as several follow on books by Ms. MacLain. I had seen the TV series in 1987 while I was stationed in Virginia Beach as a Navy SEAL with the antiterrorist SEAL Team Six and was greatly impressed. I had no idea at the time I watched it that I would be doing the same kind of past life self-discovery that Ms. MacLain had initiated for herself almost twenty years later with the same trance channel.
While reading the book “Return of the Revolutionaries” by Dr. Walter Semkiw I was again exposed to Kevin Ryerson who is a trance channel or someone that allows disincarnate entities such as Atun-Re to speak through him while he is in a deep trance. Atun-Re is an ancestor of Nubian descent and an Egyptian Priest who lived during the time of Pharaoh Akhenaten. He was considered an initiate of the Pyramids, a master of sacred theater and at one time the head of the Egyptian Army. When he lost his family in war he renounced violence and went into the priesthood. He was considered a priest of Ptah and Sekhmet and was the master architect of the city of Akhetaten. Atun-Re would provide much of the confirmation of the research that Dr. Semkiw conducted for his Return of the Revolutionaries book. In Dr. Semkiw’s book, which would inspire me to investigate my past lives once again, he presents convincing evidence that many of the former orchestrators of the United States revolution have reincarnated today.
Kevin Ryerson’s channeling would help me clear away much of the veil that we are all born with that shields us from past life memory. During my first phone session with Kevin I was given incredible insight into my life with Yeshua as I would come to call him as many that were close to him did. I would review this information and do a lot of soul searching for almost two years before I came back and really started to get into depth about my past lives.
The huge popularity of such books on the subject as Many Lives, Many Masters and Same Soul, Many Bodies by Dr. Brian Weiss gives great credibility to the idea that we are seeing a tipping point in the world towards a majority of the population of the earth having a belief or openness to the possibility of past lives. Dr Weiss’s description of past life regression intrigued me enough to have my own past life regressions with an expert in the field named Rebecca Shaw. Rebecca whose practice is in Charleston, SC would lead me to the discovery of several past lives, some within the Charleston area itself.
Through meditative contemplation in which I quiet my mind and focus on specific incarnations that I have an idea about, past life regression and different psychic insights I was able to piece together the different lifetimes in this book.
I will continue throughout this book to discuss and offer more insight as to how I came to understand the connection with my own past lives and how anyone can do the same. Through my own personal journey I hope to inspire many others to become aware of their own past lives.
From my own meditations, many psychic readings from several different psychics, past life regressions and through dream work I was able to piece together many different events in my life. All of these different aspects of research into past lives have independently collaborated each other. There are moments in your life when events will spark memories in your past. The further back in your past you go the fuzzier some of your memories become. Some of these memories however will come back to you in a flash, in complete detail with brilliant colors, sounds, visual images, names, locations etc. When you begin to focus on past lives some of the events from those lives can come to you in a flash. I have moments when past life memories will come flashing in just like current life memories. I’ll give you a sample of some of the memories and events that I have pieced together in the following account of my time with Jeshua.
The first time I met Jeshua ben Joseph was in the hills above the city of Tiberias on the shores of the Sea of Tiberias. I had traveled from my home in Athens, Greece to the port of Haifa in one of my families trading ships. My Hellenic family was Jewish but other than a few coins for the temple in Athens we did not practice or study our chosen religion. I had taken some time off as a Roman Centurion in Jerusalem and I had decided to dedicate myself to studying under the Essenes on the shores of what was once called the Sea of Galilee. The greatest amount of knowledge of the Talmud and the Jewish religion were supposedly held by the Essenes as those in the inner circle and were informed knew.
While in Jerusalem I had also heard that a new Rabbi named Jeshua of Bethlehem was stirring up quite a lot of interest through his teachings so I wanted to focus my growing interests in my family’s religion on studying with progressive thinkers. My family was one of the wealthiest families in the world through our trading ships and we had a very close trading relationship with an Essene named Joseph of Aramathea. Joseph, who was considered by many to be the wealthiest man in the world, was going to rent me one of his new villas in Tiberias. I had known Joseph for many years as I had worked in my family’s fleet as a young boy and had traveled to many trading ports throughout the Mediterranean Sea and the Isles of Briton. One of the newer ports where our two companies transferred goods was called London. The tin used as one of the main components to manufacture bronze came out of secret mines in England that Joseph supplied to the growing Roman Empire. My families fleets would help transfer the valuable tin to Roman ports where it was smelted with copper to fashion the Romans military hardware of swords and shields. Roman military power would not be as effective without this one commodity.
My family had prepared me to eventually assume a position in the senate in Rome by sending me to a Roman military academy where it was thought that once I earned a commission as an officer and served my required tenure in the lands of Judea it would increase mine and my families stature and help earn me the credibility to serve Rome in a higher capacity. My family was wealthy enough and influential enough that this was considered a viable option. I was honored that my family had the faith that I could perform this task and felt strongly that I would eventually achieve it. I would also be educated in one of the finest schools of thought in the world at the time with some of the greatest teachers in Greece at the Lyceum.
It was while in service in Judea that I became intrigued with my religious heritage and decided to study under the Essene community. The Essenes had the greatest libraries and an educational system that would accept certain Jews of influence for training in their university system.
Named in honor of the Emperor of the same name, Tiberias was a newer Roman city on the fresh water lakes coast. Many of the wealthy and influential were beginning to establish villas there. It was not surprising that a forward thinking Rabbi would set himself up to teach among people of influence that could help forward these new ideas.
I was anxious to meet the new Rabbi I had heard so much about so I hurried my guide to take me to meet him. As we worked our way up into the hills to the gathering place for lectures and theater I saw him before I met him as he was slightly taller than the others standing around him. He was strikingly handsome as well with long light ash brown hair parted in the middle that hung past his shoulders in a manner that was fashionable for the time. His garments were of costly linen but simply made and colored a light tan. They hung from his lean athletic frame in a casual way that suggested a quiet confidence that is usually held by those of peak physical condition, health, wealth and prestige. I would learn that the Essene communities throughout Judea, which he was a member of and had been raised in, were communal in that they shared their wealth and rarely had elaborate homes strictly for themselves. Nevertheless they were usually quite well taken care of in all their basic needs and were well educated.
My guide brought me to where the inner circle of followers was gathered around the popular Rabbi. As we approached I caught his eye and he stopped his conversation with the group and stepped through their circle and approached me. All eyes in the group were on me and I felt they were appraising me. I nodded my head and introduced myself as Aristotle ben Onassis of Athens. He nodded back and introduced himself as Jeshua ben Joseph of Bethlehem. His smile was warm as if we had known each other for all our lives. He said that I should call him by his familiar name of Yeshua. His blue grey colored eyes held my gaze and seemed to smile back at me. Yeshua’s eyes intrigued me because I had heard that his eyes would transform depending on the light between a greenish hazel and a blue grey color. It seemed his eyes held a wisdom far beyond the thirty-one years I had been told he had walked the earth. I was approximately the same age but younger.
He asked if I would stay to hear the sermon that he was about to give. I told him that I would be happy to hear his words and that I planned on staying as long as I could. He laughed and said that his uncle Joseph had told him that I was coming and that I was quite eager to learn. “I hope that I don’t disappoint you brother” Jeshua said as he smiled and stepped back towards his circle of followers who were still quietly waiting and observing our interaction.
I worked my way through the gathering crowd towards the back of the group. The area we were gathered in was a natural bowl in the hills that overlooked the lake. It looked as if it could hold several thousand people and was quickly approaching that number as family groups filed up from the city below. Obviously the word was out that the message this Rabbi was presenting was inspiring to people. There were some areas of this natural bowl that were already being developed for seating but mostly it was a natural setting. Jeshua moved to the center of the half moon shaped bowl and began to speak. His voice carried well and everyone in the crowd began to take seats along the hillsides and settle down.
Jeshua spoke of much the first day that I heard him speak. I remember some of his words and more memories are coming in over time. What I do remember was very powerful. He said in effect that we are all capable of great miracles if we could only believe in our Divine powers. If our belief in our Divine power was even as small as a mustard seed we could move mountains. He said that the humble or meek would inherit the Earth of the future because of their ability to change the old ways of power and domination through the power of their love and not through force. He also spoke of how we should aspire to be childlike in our view of the world because children are full of love and wonder for everything and everyone in their world.
These were ideas that were quite foreign to the religious dogma at the time, which preached that God was harsh, outside of you and could only be accessed by a Rabbi in a formal setting such as a temple. Yeshua spoke of how God was not only within you but also in everything in life from the rocks, water, animals and plants, the wine and food that we consume to the air that we breathe. Yeshua taught that God was love and that we were connected to him through love. All of us are at one with God and had within us the love and power of that force coursing through us and giving us life. Yeshua’s goal in his ministry was to help us see the divine spark that is within all of us. His miracles were an example to others of the power that we all possess.
As I listened standing in the back of the crowd I looked around at the large crowd and noticed that everyone was quiet, almost mesmerized as he spoke. I could feel a kind of electricity in the air and I felt excited but also at the same time at peace and happy. I had a strong feeling at that point that the message that this Rabbi was teaching was one that could transform and positively influence the entire Roman Empire. I made a commitment to myself at that moment that I would do everything in my power to see that this would come about.
One of the quotes that I heard this day that carries forward to the present is that “God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.”
I will continue throughout this book to discuss and offer more insight as to how I came to understand the connection with my own past lives and how anyone can do the same. Through my own personal journey I hope to inspire many others to become aware of their own past lives and potentially awaken their own journey into past life recall. As the veil between this life and other lives is thinned so to speak you will begin to have recall of past life events and “ah ha” moments will begin to happen for you.
Now I will continue my reflection on the life with Yeshua.
After Yeshua’s well-received Sermon on the Mount above the sea of Tiberius and city of the same name we all met at the villa that I was renting from Joseph. All of Yeshua’s close disciples were there and we all had a feast together. I would meet all of the close followers and the elite of the city that were supporting Yeshua’s ministry. I would also meet several members of Yeshua’s family over time at this villa, as it would be our central place of departure for other cities in the region. The most striking person I met by far was Yeshua wife, Mary of Bethany. She was an amazingly rare beauty that was constantly at Yeshua’s side. She was sometimes called Mary Magdalene because of her study in Heliopolis, Egypt with the Isis priesthood. Her mother was Mary of Magdala and her father was Joseph of Arimathea. Mary of Bethany and Yeshua’s grandmother was Anna of Briton whose offspring were both Mary Anna (Mother of Yeshua) and Joseph of Aramathea (Father of Mary of Bethany). So that made Yeshua and Mary of Bethany cousins.
I would like to point out here that the story of Mary Magdalene being a prostitute that Yeshua saved from stoning is pure fabrication. She was very important to Jeshua and his ministry and together they anchored the vibrational codes of love into this reality. This has never been taught in religious teachings but in time will be revealed for we are entering into a time where everything is about to change and all will be restored. I go “out on a limb” by making this statement but my wife has asked me to consider taking a risk and it is because I honor and value her intuition that you are reading these words now.
My wife in this life actually grew up with Yeshua and Mary of Bethany and was also a Magdalene priestess. When I was making rounds in the Temple of Jerusalem as Captain of the guard I strayed accidentally into the women’s chamber. As I walked in the women scattered running away pulling their veils across their faces. Veils were required by the women when they entered the temple and they were also separated from the men. One woman who was sitting by herself off to my left on massive stone steps caught my eye. She was just in the process of lifting her veil when our eyes connected and locked. We were both transfixed and as our eyes stayed transfixed she lowered her veil. She was breath takingly beautiful. The older women at this point started yelling at me to get my attention and with arm gestures worked me back out of the room. She was at the temple with the group of disciples that were following Yeshua. I would eventually meet and marry this beauty and we would be together till the end of our lives.
Jeshua would teach in mostly outdoor settings everywhere that people would gather along the shoreline of lake Tiberius or the Sea of Galilee as the locals still called it. Yeshua would do healings and the first time I would witness these was at the springs near the city of Tiberius. These springs were renowned for their healing abilities and people would gather there over a three to four day period to heal and cleanse. Yeshua and his wife Mary would conduct healings together along with many of Yeshua’s disciples. An average group that traveled with Yeshua would number close to one hundred people and at times well over this amount.
A follower of Yeshua that I Initially had the strongest bond with was Peter ben Jonah of Bethsaida. He was a strong fisherman from a fishing village near Capernaum. He was nicknamed Simon, which means the rock as he was built hard as a rock and also very dependable. I would teach him how to use a short sword which he would carry concealed under his robes. I taught Simon because I new he would protect Yeshua with his life if need be. I would also teach a few other disciples over time as the popularity of Yeshua grew and therefore the threat to his safety. Simon Peter and I would train extensively over the next several months when I would come and go depending on my free time. Occasionally some of the other followers would join in and they would eventually actually start protecting Yeshua after he was almost killed in the city of Jerusalem following an interrogation by henchmen of Pontius Pilate.
Yeshua was kind to tolerate our training sessions because his message was one of pacifism. While I believed in his message I also felt that this idea was impractical by itself. I had seen firsthand and had been part of the Pax Romana and it’s peaceful effects were revolutionizing the entire region. Law, order, personal freedoms, education, the arts and culture had not had been this widespread and pervasive since the days of Alexander the Great several hundred years ago. I could see that the Roman Empire, which included all of the lands surrounding the Mediterranean Sea, was flourishing and mostly peaceful because of the power of the Roman army. Unfortunately there was a dark side to Roman power and that was the need for certain groups to exert control. This was seen in the abomination called crucifixion, which was used to incite fear and control wherever Roman power exerted itself. Roman citizens were largely exempt from this cruel form of punishment but most of the world in which Rome was rapidly gaining dominance was not.
I believed strongly in the need for the Rabbi’s of Judea to bring forth a message of tolerance for others and pacifism. Until that day arrived, men who carried the sword peacefully as I did, would be needed to assure that the Pax Romana continued.
Yeshua’s message throughout the towns that we traveled through was that by connecting with God who was of love and is love that we could not possibly hate another at the same time. There were many paths to God and tolerance for another’s path was essential for you to find God he taught. An old saying that Yeshua would often say to us whenever he overheard us complain of someone else was “take the log out of your own eye before you take the splinter out of your brothers eye”. This usually would bring about quiet contemplation and an extended period of silence.
I had asked Yeshua once around a campfire on one of our travels why he spoke in such simple parables all the time. I knew that he had traveled to distant lands for over half his life to study with great Druidic masters in the Isles of Britain, Himalayan schools of wisdom, Persian masters of spiritual philosophy and he was a high level initiate in the ancient mystery schools of Heliopolis in Egypt and has trained in Greece at some of the mystery schools as I had, so why I asked did he speak so simply in his sermons. He told me that we should all be able to do the same. He said that the kingdom of heaven was open to those that had the innocent, searching, unfettered and always loving mind of a child. Many of his teachings he said were meant to convey a message to those that were not and perhaps would never be initiates in deeper meanings but it was also meant for those that were. So the parables were multi-level teachings. Yeshua’s teachings were simple enough for the masses so that they could begin to understand the deeper mysteries of life. The messages were also designed to appeal to the newly initiated into the deeper mysteries and as well as for those that were already advanced in these mysteries.
Whenever anyone asked Yeshua why he did not go into the temples to teach he said that one of the reasons he taught outdoors was because of the beauty and simplicity of the outdoors and that God did not require a temple to connect with him. He said that temples stagnated information about God and God’s connection with all of life not just with man but everything, mineral, plant, animal as well as man. By being outdoors the love of all of life was connected with the energy of God and was able to flow unimpeded and could more easily be tapped and utilized. Many houses of worship, he explained, had trapped negative energies and thus stifled the awakening to the deeper mysteries that he was focused on awakening within people.
During my years spent in Jerusalem as Captain of the guard for Pontius Pilate the Consulate General for all of Judea, I had been valued for my ability to keep the peace in a city that was renowned for uprisings by a multitude of radical religious factions. I did this through applied power and not by applied force. Applied power is a higher form of consciousness that projects out and affects your environment. You have power and the ability to use that power but you are in control of it and do not bully people to prove it to them like someone that is projecting applied force would. Applied power will actually draw people to synthesize with you whereas applied force will repel people because of the lower consciousness level that is projected out. This idea was something that Yeshua and I had agreed upon as a teaching tool for warriors and protectors. I made sure the people knew that I would not hesitate to protect them from an injustice or applied force but at the same time if they were to rise up and unjustly harm others it would be meet with swift, effective and focused applied power. This I had found was the more peaceful way to keep people from uprising.
I had an unusually large group of men under my command that were well trained not just in the art of war but also in the art of observation and intelligence gathering. A few decades prior Julius Caesar had begun implementing Centurions with upwards of two hundred men under their command instead of the traditional one hundred. I used part of my two hundred men to create an intelligence network that kept me informed and allowed me to pass information and men quickly throughout the city. Many of my men could speak the local language as well as Greek and Latin and several were of the Jewish faith like myself, which gave us an added advantage. Several of the more senior men with this kind of background lived outside of the temple garrison and within the city with their families. Many of the men under my command including myself were intermarrying with the local women, which garnered trust among the populace. We were constantly integrating with the local populace in many different ways and were in touch with those groups that kept us informed of radical elements.
I would position well-trained soldiers at key areas after receiving intelligence of a planned uprising. By the power of our presence we were able to keep the peace at key times and places that otherwise would have quickly escalated into violent uprisings. My methods were unorthodox for the time but we achieved unparallel results and that was all that mattered to Pontus Pilate.
Many commanders before and after me would use brutal applied force to quell uprisings and periodic shows of force for no apparent reason. This applied force, although it would instigate short-term results, was not lasting and often led to even more violent and escalating revolts that would spread throughout the city and neighboring countryside.
So in a way Yeshua and I agreed on nonviolence as a way and means to a peaceful environment. He often said to many gatherings that those that lived by the sword would die by the sword. I agreed with him in that those that lived by violence would die violently. Those that lived peacefully but through the right use of their personal power would live peaceful full lives.
I would spend time with Yeshua’s cousin John ben Zachariah who was called John the Baptist because of his baptismal rites on the Jordan River. John lived the life of an ascetic at his encampment alongside the flowing waters of the Jordan River. His followers were all living off the land and wearing the skins of wild animals. John and Yeshua had both had training in Egypt when they were boys and also at the ancient ascetic Essene community of Qumran. Qumran contained a vast library and the ascetic monks were well traveled and had ancient knowledge that few were allowed to partake in. After their extensive training in Qumran they parted ways and Yeshua continued his spiritual education by traveling to India and the Himalayas.
John would eventually settle along the banks of the Jordan and begin his ministry after spending several more years at Qumran. John would baptize me after I had spent several days listening to his teachings and spending time with his disciples. He taught the traditional use of baptism to cleanse the body of accumulated sins and purification of the body. It was a great honor at the time to be baptized by John because he would not baptize you unless he thought you were righteous or already on an advanced spiritual path. Many of the disciples of Yeshua would learn from John, they would be baptized by him and then in return go on to baptize many others.
Tragically later John was imprisoned and beheaded by Herod Antipas the ruler of Judea. Herod was little more than a puppet of Rome whose father Herod the Great had brutally and unrightfully gained control of Judea through Roman backing. It was rumored that John was imprisoned because of his outspoken condemnation of Herod Antipas’ marital arrangement and this also led to his eventual beheading. The community at Qumran was also under threat from Herod because of their outspoken criticism of Herod as well. I could see that anyone that was seen as a threat to the power of the establishment was going to be brutally and unjustly killed. I started to increase the training of the disciples so that they could protect Yeshua and his family.
I had travelled and learned with Yeshua and his many disciples for almost two years off and on during my free time. I remember just before I was going home for a period of time that I met with Yeshua, his mother Mary Anna and his wife Mary of Bethany. We were all sitting on cushions on the floor when they became earnest with me. They were all amazingly beautiful people. Although Mary Anna was only thirteen years older than Yeshua she could easily have been his sister. They both had that close kind of relationship like they were brother and sister as well. Yeshua treated all women with equality, kindness, respect and love, which was unfortunately hard for many of his male followers who were raised in unbalanced patriarchal families and societies.
They told me that events were going to rapidly change in the near future and that I would be counted on to help in many different ways. I was told that they would understand if I backed away from these dangerous responsibilities. I assured them that I would do everything in my power to help them. They had always treated me with the greatest of respect and love and I had learned amazing things from all of them and would be indebted to them for the rest of my life. I still remember to this day the amazing look of love that shown through all of their beautiful eyes at me. It was an experience that has transcended time. I believed that their message of love and pacifism would be a great gift for all of Rome someday and thought their misgivings were ill founded. Who could not see the power of their message? Or the hope and well being that it instilled in people?
I was home in Athens when I was called to return to Jerusalem because of a growing unrest. I was towards the end of my career as a Roman Centurion and was beginning to prepare for transition out of the military and to start my political posturing to become a Roman Senator. Unfortunately these plans were going to be delayed for quite awhile. I returned to Jerusalem to much chaos. Yeshua and his disciples had gone into the temple complex and had turned over money tables that the priests used to collect for animal sacrifices. Animal sacrifices were abhorrent to the Essenes but much more to the point of their disdain was the need for people to pay for communion with God. Between Roman taxation, Herod’s taxation and the priests temple tax the people were finding it increasingly hard to enter the temple and worship.
Yeshua had been performing his teachings on the massive temple steps outside the temple itself. This was causing alarm amongst the priestly class but to come in and attack their method of obtaining money was crossing the line. In a fit of anger one of the moneychangers had argued with one of Yeshua’s disciples named Barabbas who was a zealot. Zealots were a radical group of Jews that believed that a Messiah would soon come and help them violently overthrow the Roman occupation. I had counseled Yeshua that these radicals where trying to portray him as their new Messiah. Another person in his group that I had particularly warned him about was Judas ben Simon Iscariot who was in charge of the funds that were donated to Yeshua’s ministry.
The zealot Barabbas had killed the moneychanger he had argued with, had been captured, imprisoned and was awaiting trial for which the usual punishment vetted out to murderers by Pontius Pilate was crucifixion. This set the stage for several riots throughout the city that were being organized by the Zealots. Many years latter these same Zealots by the thousands along with Judas and Barrabas would seize the main temple and the city of Jerusalem and drive the Romans out. This act would not last long and would eventually cause widespread death and destruction throughout Judea as the Roman army came in and killed hundreds of thousands of Jews.
The walled city of Jerusalem with its’ indescribably beautiful and massive one thousand year old temple would be completely destroyed several years later. Jerusalem which, had been the most prosperous and beautiful city in the entire world, would be laid waste because of these radical zealots. The once proud cities streets, homes, and temples would virtually all see fighting and killing. Underneath the once sprawling streets secret tunnels and sanctuaries would be filled with the stench of the rotting corpses for months with the bodies the old, women and children who had been trapped by the Romans as they sought refuge and slaughtered by the tens of thousands. The isolated rock cliff stronghold of Masada overlooking the Dead Sea would be a last stand for many of these Zealots who would continue on for a couple more years conducting guerrilla warfare. Eventually they would be surrounded and trapped for months before their final act of defiance by committing suicide en mass.
The close disciples of Yeshua had been held up in the city. After having a traditional Passover meal together in a house of one of the disciples’ families in a prosperous area of the city, they had gone to camp at an olive grove just outside one of the cities gates. Judas ben Simon had secretly led a mixed group of Roman and Jewish soldiers in the early hours of the night to seize Yeshua at the command of Pontius Pilate, as I would learn much later.
When I arrived in Jerusalem and learned that Yeshua was imprisoned I was furious that the disciples had not protected him. I got hold of Peter who I had trusted to protect Yeshua and he said that they had all surrounded Yeshua with the intent to fight to protect him. He said that because enough of them had been trained and had weapons that they could have overwhelmed the soldiers. He even said that he had cut off the ear of one of the soldiers as a warning but that Yeshua had commanded them to stop in a powerful voice that had caused all of them to freeze. He had bent down and picked up the ear of the soldier and had put it back on in a miracle healing. Then everything moved quickly and they had seized Yeshua, put him in chains and led him away back into the city. The group had followed at a distance but eventually they led Yeshua into the Antonia fortress inside the temple walls. Many of the disciples kept vigilance outside the gate.
I moved my men throughout the city to key points to prevent any more rioting. Our garrison had been fortified with extra men. Some of whom I was not familiar with. That day I went to see Yeshua in his prison cell. I told him I could arrange for his escape but he would not have it. He said that his path was already laid out and that he was chosen to fulfill a drama that was unfolding. I did not give up and went to Pontius Pilate’s wife and asked for an audience. At the time high-level government officials and high ranking military officers would often have their wives hold court so to speak and screen some of their business. I was quite a charmer at the time and persuaded Pontius Pilate’s wife to try and intercede and let Yeshua go. I argued he preached a form of pacifism that had been largely effective at keeping the masses from getting out of control.
There is a story in the bible of Pilate’s wife trying to intercede on behalf of Yeshua. The story is she sent a message asking for Yeshua not to be condemned to death. I know that she tried because she later told me that things had gone too far and that Pilate had no choice but to condemn Yeshua to be crucified.
I would later read in Nick Bunick’s book “Time for Truth” that Pontius Pilate had actually met Yeshua the night he was seized and that they had both argued about Yeshua acknowledging the Emperor as God. Yeshua refused and therefore was condemned to be crucified. Nick Bunick who also wrote the best seller “The Messengers” is the reincarnation of Paul the Apostle.
The trial that was held later that day was just a sham and letting Barabbas go in exchange for Yeshua to be crucified was later used to pin the blame of the crucifixion on the Jews. It was the secret established powers of Rome that were trying to gain control of Jerusalem that actually ordered Yeshua killed. The many centuries of persecution of the Jews because of this lie is one of the abominations of history.
I would not watch the crucifixion but would appoint some of my men to insure that it went quickly. By not being involved in things directly from this point forward I would have deniability and the ability to orchestrate events behind the scenes. Things had gone too far and I was going to start working around a corrupt system. Yeshua was beaten and was made to haul his main plank for crucifixion. I had one of my officers make sure that he was protected and helped if at all possible. I had been approached by Joseph of Aramathea to allow his tomb to be used as a resting place for Yeshua. We also colluded to add a drug to Yeshua’s water, which would render him unconscious and appear dead in a short period of time after the initial crucifixion. The water was usually administered to those that were being crucified by a sponge on a long stick. When Yeshua passed out a spear of the officer in charge would pierce him. This was to determine if the victim was dead or passed out. If he were dead the heart would be stopped and the blood would not flow. If the victim were to bleed it was up to the officer in charge to make a decision whether they were dead or not and then determine whether to end the crucifixion.
When Yeshua passed out from the opiate he was given he was pierced and bled. His uncle Joseph was there with a cup to catch the blood. Eventually this Grail cup would be used as proof of Yeshua’s advanced spiritual abilities when his blood crystallized after his resurrection. My officer called Yeshua dead as planned and the family took Yeshua away to Joseph’s tomb.
My understanding of events that followed is that Yeshua went through an initiation where by your body dies and the spirit departs only to return in a resurrection process. His cousin Lazarus ben Joseph of Bethany (Father is Joseph of Aramathea and sister is Mary of Bethany) went through a death initiation as well but not at the advanced level that Yeshua did. Yeshua’s body was removed through a secret tunnel after he resurrected in the tomb that was connected to Joseph’s house. The eventual Shroud of Turin was the same shroud that they had used to preserve and help heal Yeshua’s wounds while he performed the resurrection process. The imprint on the shroud was the process of Yeshua’s reformulated spirit body reentering his physical body through the shroud.
Only advanced level initiates trained in the secret process or knew anything about the death initiation. Yeshua had perfected in his initiations inside the great pyramid of Giza in Egypt. By Yeshua performing the death initiation at this level he was able to anchor in a new vibration of love into the Earth that is beginning to affect all of humanity in a profound way. Many people and religions are stuck at the cross but the real story is the amazing ability of Yeshua to resurrect and walk among the disciples. Atun Re told me that the young man that Mary Magdalene saw outside of Yeshua’s tomb later and thought was the gardener was actually Yeshua in the early stages of reformulating his spirit body. Usually young men still did not have a beard as Yeshua in this early stage appeared. He asked not to be touched because he was still not solid enough in the material world. This story in the New Testament is accurate and is an example of the multiple layers of teaching in the bible stories.
I will speak more of what happened after the crucifixion in a following chapter. For the rest of the book I will follow a chronological time frame for past lives and will pick back up with more of this story after the resurrection when the correct time frame presents itself again.
