I wanted to share with everyone that visits the site a new comment from a frequent poster. If you haven’t been looking at the ‘Go to comments’ link at the beginning and end of each post I highly recommend it. Please do so because you will always get far more from this site if you become more proactive. I am a simple vessel doing everything at times in my power to share with others how we as a collective can change not only our lives in a dramatic and profound way but also end war as we know it. Imagine what our world will be like with no war.

First of all lets look at where the book The Intuitive Warrior (TIW) is at.

Currently Amazon sells the book in many countries throughout the world. You can track the sells of a book by scrolling down and looking for the ‘Amazon.com Sales Rank’ which will give you an indicater of how many people are purchasing a book at any one time. Amazon is being recognized by the book industry as the leading indicator of book sales. Top sellers in a particular category such as BooksHistoryMilitaryStrategy under which TIW currently falls will give you a list of ranked books by that particular category. On a given day  or sometimes by the minute, you can watch and see the ranking numbers fluxuate up and down. Books that are doing well in sales will be ranked towards the top of a given group.

I have watched over the month and a half since the release of TIW that The Art of War remains in the top category not just in the US but all over the world in most cases. For those of you that have read TIW you know that it is a book that entertains, educates and guides the reader to a positive transformation of self and for potentially humanity as a whole. For this to occur on a wider scale we must take a look at what our focus is. Whatever our focus is as an individual and as a group is what we will manifest as quantum physics has proven.

The Art of War was obviously a very influential book in it’s day and which apparently still has a great influence in this day and age as well. When I think, speak and write of art I am focused on the perfecting of a particular aspect of life. Which direction this perfecting process proceeds is up to the individual at one level but also ultimately as a mass consciousness.  When most of us think of art we think of paintings such as The Last Supper by Leonardo Da Vinci. Lets look at this one aspect of art and see that it was not always revered as a great work of art as it is today.

Artist Leonardo da Vinci
Year 1495–1498
Type tempera on gessopitch and mastic
Dimensions 460 cm × 880 cm (181 in × 346 in)
Location Santa Maria delle GrazieMilan

Damage and restorations

As early as 1517 the painting was starting to flake. By 1556—less than sixty years after it was finished — Leonardo’s biographer Giorgio Vasari described the painting as already “ruined” and so deteriorated that the figures were unrecognizable. In 1652 a doorway was cut through the (then unrecognisable) painting, and later bricked up; this can still be seen as the irregular arch shaped structure near the center base of the painting. It is believed, through early copies, that Jesus’ feet were in a position symbolizing the forthcoming crucifixion. In 1768 a curtain was hung over the painting for the purpose of protection; it instead trapped moisture on the surface, and whenever the curtain was pulled back, it scratched the flaking paint.

A first restoration was attempted in 1726 by Michelangelo Bellotti, who filled in missing sections with oil paint then varnished the whole mural. This repair did not last well and another restoration was attempted in 1770 by Giuseppe Mazza. Mazza stripped off Bellotti’s work then largely repainted the painting; he had redone all but three faces when he was halted due to public outrage. In 1796 French troops used the refectory as an armory; they threw stones at the painting and climbed ladders to scratch out the Apostles’ eyes. The refectory was then later used as a prison; it is not known if any of the prisoners may have damaged the painting. In 1821 Stefano Barezzi, an expert in removing whole frescoes from their walls intact, was called in to remove the painting to a safer location; he badly damaged the centre section before realizing that Leonardo’s work was not a fresco. Barezzi then attempted to reattach damaged sections with glue. From 1901 to 1908, Luigi Cavenaghi first completed a careful study of the structure of the painting, then began cleaning it. In 1924 Oreste Silvestri did further cleaning, and stabilised some parts with stucco.

A protective structure was built in front of the da Vinci wall fresco. This photo shows the bombing damage in 1943, suggesting the magnitude of the greater damage which was averted.

During World War II, on August 15, 1943, the refectory was struck by a bomb; protective sandbagging prevented the painting from being struck by bomb splinters, but it may have been damaged further by the vibration. From 1951 to 1954 another clean-and-stabilise restoration was undertaken by Mauro Pelliccioli.

So as you can see Art is relative to humanity.

Lets look at the definition of art:

Art is the process or product of deliberately arranging elements in a way to affect the senses or emotions. It encompasses a diverse range of human activities, creations, and modes of expression, including musicliteraturefilmsculpture, and paintings. The meaning of art is explored in a branch of philosophy known as aesthetics.

So from the definition and from the example of The Last Supper we can surmise that art can be whatever we as a collective decide it is going to be.

Lets look at the beginning of the Art of War and what the author Lao Tzu says about how to develop the art of war.

Bamboo book - binding - UCR.jpg

The beginning of The Art of War, in a “classical” bamboo book from the reign of the Qianlong Emperor.
Author Sun Tzu
Genre(s) military treatise
Publication date unknown, ca. 6th century BC

Sun Tzu Wu was a native of the Ch`i State. His ART OF WAR brought him to the notice of Ho Lu, King of Wu. Ho Lu said to him: “I have carefully perused your 13 chapters. May I submit your theory of managing soldiers to a slight test?”

Sun Tzu replied: “You may.”

Ho Lu asked: “May the test be applied to women?”

The answer was again in the affirmative, so arrangements were made to bring 180 ladies out of the Palace. Sun Tzu divided them into two companies, and placed one of the King’s favorite concubines at the head of each. He then bade them all take spears in their hands, and addressed them thus: “I presume you know the difference between front and back, right hand and left hand?”

The girls replied: Yes.

Sun Tzu went on: “When I say “Eyes front,” you must look straight ahead. When I say “Left turn,” you must face towards your left hand. When I say “Right turn,” you must face towards your right hand. When I say “About turn,” you must face right round towards your back.”

Again the girls assented. The words of command having been thus explained, he set up the halberds and battle-axes in order to begin the drill. Then, to the sound of drums, he gave the order “Right turn.” But the girls only burst out laughing. Sun Tzu said: “If words of command are not clear and distinct, if orders are not thoroughly understood, then the general is to blame.”

So he started drilling them again, and this time gave the order “Left turn,” whereupon the girls once more burst into fits of laughter. Sun Tzu: “If words of command are not clear and distinct, if orders are not thoroughly understood, the general is to blame. But if his orders ARE clear, and the soldiers nevertheless disobey, then it is the fault of their officers.”

So saying, he ordered the leaders of the two companies to be beheaded. Now the king of Wu was watching the scene from the top of a raised pavilion; and when he saw that his favorite concubines were about to be executed, he was greatly alarmed and hurriedly sent down the following message: “We are now quite satisfied as to our general’s ability to handle troops. If We are bereft of these two concubines, our meat and drink will lose their savor. It is our wish that they shall not be beheaded.”

Sun Tzu replied: “Having once received His Majesty’s commission to be the general of his forces, there are certain commands of His Majesty which, acting in that capacity, I am unable to accept.”

Accordingly, he had the two leaders beheaded, and straightway installed the pair next in order as leaders in their place.

When this had been done, the drum was sounded for the drill once more; and the girls went through all the evolutions, turning to the right or to the left, marching ahead or wheeling back, kneeling or standing, with perfect accuracy and precision, not venturing to utter a sound. Then Sun Tzu sent a messenger to the King saying: “Your soldiers, Sire, are now properly drilled and disciplined, and ready for your majesty’s inspection. They can be put to any use that their sovereign may desire; bid them go through fire and water, and they will not disobey.”

But the King replied: “Let our general cease drilling and return to camp. As for us, We have no wish to come down and inspect the troops.”

Thereupon Sun Tzu said: “The King is only fond of words, and cannot translate them into deeds.”

After that, Ho Lu saw that Sun Tzu was one who knew how to handle an army, and finally appointed him general. In the west, he defeated the Ch`u State and forced his way into Ying, the capital; to the north he put fear into the States of Ch`i and Chin, and spread his fame abroad amongst the feudal princes. And Sun Tzu shared in the might of the King.

So as we see in the above highlighted portion of Art of War we are not speaking as I said above: “positive transformation of self and for potentially humanity as a whole” are we? If you have ever read as I have The Art of War you know that it is very much a blueprint for conducting successful war if utilized as stated.

Is this where we want to remain as a collective? I have said many times to friends that have read TIW that if we see the day when TIW supplants The Art of War from the top spot for an extended period of time we will see a transformation in humanity for which I speak.

How will this happen? It will only happen if those that have read the book refer it to others and they in turn refer to others and so on. I have seen this trend happening albeit slowly at first, it seems to be gathering momentum as with a wave that gathers momentum with the incoming tide. It has a peak and then a trough. The peaks or sales rankings are gathering momentum and are reaching new hights as time progresses. Check the Sales Ranking from time to time to see the progress. Will we as a collective continue to be influenced by a dark book about war or one that leads us to the light?

Let me share with you a comment now that shows a completely different story from the Art of War.

Great post Gerald. Your graciousness also models class and another way to behave to those who choose rudeness. Some will get it, some won’t, but you’re doing the most positive thing and that’s what you can control. Well done.

Say, on a related note; I know you’re studying Michael’s book very intently. Here’s a “one-sheet” synopsis of ideas that I pulled out from the book that just gives me a reminder of what I found were significant points. Hope it’s useful.

Take care all – and keep up the momentum!!!!!

If you’ve made it this far in the post I feel quite certain that you are within the growing majority of people that are seeing The Intuitive Warrior as an alternative to The Art of War (AOW).

Again as a humble vessel that is doing everything in my own power to get this information out to as many as possible I cannot do it alone. Personally I have spent a small fortune in having this book published and distributed. I took on this endeavour fully knowing that I may never receive back what I put into it. I did this because I believe in humanity and that if given the right tool and message that we can find our way out of the dark thoughts that have trapped us for thousands of years. Humanity as a collective will decide if TIW becomes the new way or ART of TIW or if we continue with the AOW.

I’m currently overseas spreading the art of TIW and no attacks have happened in my locations as I’ve learned to influence my surroundings with the thought of love projected out. I have been doing this for years now. It is a learnable skill that we are all capable of and that a select few could be trained to a very great level at doing. A potential new type of Special Warrior. Imagine a future army that will come into a location and stop all conflict and heal an environment without firing a shot. I have created it but I am but one. Who will join me?

I have planned two more books to follow TIW that will go into great detail how this process has evolved over time within me. These next two books have the potential to transform just as TIW does. But they will not go forth and less the call from humanity brings them forth.

I await that call with great anticipation as I watch for TIW to replace AOW at the top.

*Update* 4/28/10

Two days after this post The Intuitive Warrior (TIW) made the #1 spot on Amazon Germany! Thanks and congratulations to everyone in Germany for making the transition from War to Intuition. Many things can be read into Germany being the first to take TIW to #1. Currently TIW is #2 and holding in US.

You are right on Michael. It’s time to get beyond The Art of War. If each of us does what we can, we’ll change the world, even if it’s one person, one family, one town, one state, one country – and one world at a time.

Lee I agree whole heartedly ! War is not and never will be a SOUL- UTION to any situation we have encountered that does not agree with one persons way of thinking. It is the cowards choice the bullies weapon used to instill fear into the vibrational field and to disrupt the NATURAL STATE OF BEING.
Humanity as a whole was not created to support this mind set and that is why things are and will continue to ascend upward into a higher vibrational LOVE BASED ENERGY.
This energy is not something we will need to fight for to achieve for LOVE is not something one fights for, it is simply what ONE ALREADY IS.
We have distorted this natural LOVE and replaced it with a watered down form. We have manufactured some impostor version and traded it for one filled with conditions and limitations that have created expectations and a system that requires some form of action or exchange to now somehow have to earn anothers love from them. This is an incorrect and an unnatural state of being. I believe this is why some people can never be satisfied or find happiness or contentment in their lives. It creates a negative vibrational energy within the natural love vibration one was originally created in and creates an inner world conflict.
The war that appears to be happening outside of ourselves in our world is an outward reflection of what is actually occurring with in us. Because of this we begin to vibrate with this war vibration and think that it is an outward solution or the answer to the conflict actually occurring within.
IT IS NOT DEAR ONES. RETURNING TO LOVE IS THE ONLY ANSWER and not the impostor version spoken of earlier in this post. Only the true state of your created being will correct this inner and outer conflict seeming to appear in our outer world.
Lee is right one person taking responsibility for resetting this vibration frequency within themselves can effect the world.

TRUE NATURAL LOVE IS ORGANIC BY NATURE AND IS ALWAYS IN SYNERGY WITH ALL LIFE EVERYWHERE. IT IS IN BALANCE AT ALL TIMES BY UNIVERSAL LAW. IT IS ENCODED IN OUR ORIGINAL DNA to be this way.

    Michael,

Did I read correctly that you are overseas? Knowing you can’t speak about any of it, I’m sure you are “protecting.” I have to tell you that you inspire me everyday. What you have done and who you are makes me want to be better, train harder, be smarter, and intuit truly and lovingly. The genius that is Michael Jaco runs deeply into the soul and unleashes my intuitive warrior.

The AOW has nothing on TIW. I don’t care how old it is, or how many people have read it. In an extremely simple and basic, yet relevant analogy, think about this. Think about a home. Think about remolding that home. Which is easier, destruction or construction? How easy is it to go in and destroy versus the act of building, reinventing, creating and maintaining—even expanding? The AOW is a lesson on destruction. TIW is the teaching of building, reinventing, creating, maintaining and expanding. TIW will replace AOW. It’s just a matter of time.

And congratulations for being number one on Amazon. I’m overjoyed, yet not surprised at all.

As for you being overseas. My spirit is with you on your journeys. You don’t need it and it changes nothing for you, but I’m there.

Even the most capable of men need a hand from time to time. Let me know when that time comes for you. I’m there. In the meantime, TIW resides on my sleeve. I spread the word every day.

    Get back here soon,

    gp
